Mount Pleasant Station’s Main Entrance is a fully accessible entrance, equipped with escalators and elevators. The Secondary Entrance’s design offers stairs that lead to the platform level.

are the elevators at Cedarvale station between Lower concourse and lrt platform NEW or the SAME elevators from the TTC station?

At Cedarvale Station there will be two new elevators installed. One will be installed at the Main Station Entrance and the second will be installed at the Secondary Station Entrance.

Leaside Station’s Secondary Entrance will have stairs and an elevator. Should patrons wish to use an escalator, they will be accessible via the station's Main Entrance.

In summary, Eglinton Station will consist of the following levels: 

  • The Street Level
  • The TTC Subway Concourse Level (as the two stations will be integrated)
  • The Eglinton Crosstown LRT Upper Concourse Level
  • The Eglinton Crosstown LRT Lower Concourse Level 
  • The Eglinton Crosstown LRT Platform Level

At Avenue Station there will be a total of two concourse levels. An Upper Concourse Level and a Lower Concourse Level will be accessible at both Station Entrances. Additoinally, the station will also have a Platform Level, a Service Level, and a Street Level.

There is an existing elevator at the south entrance of the TTC's Eglinton Station, which remains operational. This elevator provides access between the street and subway platform levels.

Construction of an additional elevator between the TTC's subway concourse level and the platform level is in progress.

Will the underground pathway between Y-E center and the subway will ever open up after the LRT is complete in 2022?

The underground tunnel is expected to remain closed until construction at Eglinton Station is complete. Once reopened, it will connect to both the LRT's upper concourse level and the TTC’s concourse level at Eglinton Station. The scheduled completion for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT is 2022.

In this 'Central' segment between Forest Hill and Leaside, what will be the next station in which you will install new ESCALATORS? Forest Hill, Chaplin, Eglinton or Leaside?

(NOTE: I already know you're installing escalators for Mount Pleasant and Avenue stations. but I don't know which month you'll install escalators for the rest of the stations in this segment.)

Escalator installations between Forest Hill Station and Leaside Station are expected to take place from mid-2021 to late-2021. Escalators will be installed prior to elevators.

Stops are too far apart for seniors suffering Heart disabilities to transfer buses or pull with heavy carts. If it's a materials storage issue, why can't intersections at least be cleared?

The TTC will make all decisions pertaining to changes in bus routing, frequency, and service. They will also be undertaking public consultations on bus route changes related to the new Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
