From a tourism perspective as well as serving the broader community, it makes sense to have a station that serves the Distillery District.

This station, if possible, should serve each of the Richmond Hill, LSE and Stouffville corridors, with an eye to reducing Union Station dwell times.

This station provides a good link to an area that is increasing in density and office buildings. The business district has moved east into the area around King and Parliment and the new developments in the area will benefit from having this station.
