The Ontario Line - Events

Live virtual question and answer sessions are designed to give neighbours direct access to the project team. Neighbours are able to submit and vote for questions. The project team aims to answer as many questions at each session as possible.

We’ve divided stations into four segments to focus our engagement with you. Some events are specific to a neighbourhood segment.

Be a part of the design discussion!

We want your input on how the Ontario Line will be designed in your community.

Metrolinx will be launching a design competition this summer to encourage design firms to submit creative and innovative design solutions for Ontario Line structures that will be built around the existing rail corridor from Eastern Avenue to Gerrard Street.

We want to here your input on what you want to see as part of the future retaining walls, noise barriers, public areas below bridges, lighting and other landscape features for the Ontario Line. Your input will be provided to design firms to help them better understand your community priorities, while preparing their proposals for evaluation.

This summer, Metrolinx will be popping up in your neigbourhood. Look for our tent and come and meet us to learn more about the Ontario Line, ask us questions and have you say.

Can’t make it to our events in person? Have your say online by filling out a brief survey. The survey will be open until Friday July 15 at 11:59 pm.

Interested in participating in a community walking tour and or a design workshop this summer? Check out the details at MetrolinxEngage.com soon to register and attend as space is limited.
