Neighbourhood Work Zone

Construction for the Hurontario LRT in Mississauga Centre is separated into three work zones. Work zone six starts at Fairview Road, ending at Matthews Gate, work zone seven continues from there until Burnhamthorpe Road, zones eight and nine continue to Eglinton Avenue.

The next phase of utility relocation work on both sides of Hurontario Street to begin in Spring 2021, roadwork will begin at the same time. These works are anticipated to be complete by late Fall, 2022

  • Excavation, Removal and Disposal of Existing Roadway Construction of New Roadway, Curbs & Sidewalks Construction of Retaining/Gravity Walls

Square One Drive to Eglinton Avenue Work Zone 8

Road works on Hurontario Street to begin in Summer 2021, including construction of the elevated guideway and Highway 403 structural rehab. This will be closely followed by utility relocation work in Fall 2021. Construction of Elevated Guideway and Hwy 403 Structural Rehab begins Summer 2021.
