Project overview

Metrolinx is seeking your feedback on the proposed GO Transit location. A new on-street GO Transit bus stop is being planned in Scarborough Centre along Borough Drive, west of Scarborough Town Centre. This bus stop would serve as a temporary location, proposed to be in-operation between Fall 2022 - 2030. The timing reflects when GO Transit must relocate from the TTC Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal, to give way to the additional TTC buses as result of the SRT decommissioning next year, and when the new permanent bus terminal is anticipated to open.

Project benefits

GO Transit buses provide a vital rapid transit option in Scarborough Centre, connecting users across the region, and meeting its present and future needs as the region undergoes transformation in coming years.

This proposed bus stop relocation will enable GO to maintain its service to 500 weekday users, who board at Scarborough Centre.

I think it would have easier access to the mall and connect to McCowan RT Stn. It could go up the ramp to Progress, have a stop beside the driveway to the mall, then head to McCowan Stn via Progress, Grangeway, and Bushby.
